What are good hairstyles for men with medium/long hair for prom?

i've been growing my hair since last june but i recently got a 1'; trim (2 weeks ago). prom is june 4th and i need to get a hairstyle that is formal, yet keeps my length (or most of it at least).

you should straighten it and have slicked back, or like the first pic you have .
